Q. How does it work?

A. Once you have registered you are free to bid on any of the goods listed.

QHow do I bid?

A. Click on the goods you are interested in and look for the submit bid button and place your bid.

Q. Why isn't it accepting my bid?

A. This will be because you have bid below the minimum bid allowed you need to bid more.

Q. How much shall I bid?

A. This is an auction and the highest bid at the end of the auction will be the one in the position to buy the goods. To ensure you are in a strong position to win the item you can place your maximum bid and will bid on the item for you.

Example:    You place a bid of £10,000

                  You are the highest bidder of £8600

                  If your highest bid is over reserve you will win the lot at the price of £8600.

Q. What if I am the highest bidder but I haven't met reserve?

A. With your consent, we will contact the vendor (owner of the goods) and ask if your bid was near enough to substantiate the sale of the goods. If your bid is accepted we will change the status of the sale to successful and this will appear in your My Account menu in green as a winning bid.

Q. Can I submit a bid less than the reserve price?

A. You may submit a bid less than the reserve price so long as the auction listing has previously ended at least once.

Q. How do I know how much to pay?

A. After a successful winning bid, an invoice will be emailed to you with your total payment showing, this will include the cost of the goods, £99.00 auction fee and if requested your delivery cost.

Q. How long do I have to pay for the goods?

A. We request payment within 48hours if this doesn't adhere to we will re-enter the goods and you will be charged a £99.00 auction fee.

Q. What happens if there is a problem with the goods?

A. will try their utmost to describe the goods to the best of their ability, the goods will be bought as a "sight-seen" or "sold as seen" and all cosmetic damage will be catalogued as best as possible. The goods are available to view from the Monday prior to the sale at the location of the goods and its the buyer's responsibility to make sure they are fully aware of the condition of the goods that they are bidding on.

Q. How can I recover a lost or forgotten password?

A. Send yourself a password reset via email.

  1. From the sign in page select the Forgot password? link or click here.
  2. Enter your email address associated with your account and click the [Submit] button.
  3. Check your email inbox. If the email does not arrive in your inbox be sure to check your junk mail folder or spam filter.
  4. Click the reset link in that email.
  5. Choose a new password.
Q. How do I change my password?

A. You can change your password at any time.

  1. From your logged in account, go to your "My Account" area.
  2. From the left-hand menu, select "Account > Password."
  3. Enter your current password.
  4. Choose your new password.
  5. Save your changes by clicking the [Change Password] button.
Q. Why am I not receiving any emails?

A. If you are not receiving expected site emails, please check the following:

  1. Check your junk mail folder or spam filter for the missing emails.
  2. Make sure that your email address, in your account settings, is entered correctly.
  3. Verify that your email client, such as Outlook, is not in “offline” mode.
  4. If you use a POP3 connection to retrieve your email, please verify that the emails were not downloaded to a different computer.

Q. How do I change the email address tied to my account?

A. You can change your email address by editing your account details within your “My Account” area.

Q. Why do I get a warning message that my selected username is invalid?

A. Every user must select a username for their account. The username can only contain letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens. We recommend replacing all [spaces] with either an underscore or hyphen.

Incorrect: MY Username
Correct: MY-Username
Correct: MY_Username

Or, it says that the username selected is already in use.

Usernames are unique. Two users cannot share the same username. If you get a notice during registration that your username is already in use, you will need to select a different username.

Q. Why does it say that my email address is already in use?

A. If you get a notice that your email address is already in use when creating an account, which means that you have already created an account with us at some point. If you do not remember your login information, please enter your email address into the forgotten password form and you will be able to reset your password and log in to your account.

Q. What protection do we have on auction sales?

A. Unfortunately, due to the nature of our Auctions, there are no guarantees to the condition of any goods you bid on. Bidders at live auctions are not considered consumers and therefore the Sales of Goods Act 1979 and The Consumer Rights Act 2015 do not apply to sales through auction.

Q. Are there any guarantees or warranties on your vehicles?

A. We do not guarantee any of the vehicles nor do we provide warranties for any goods purchased at auction. In some circumstances, listings can be made by third parties, in such a case we hold no responsibility or liability for any guarantee, warranty or offer that was made by such party.
